22 Mar An important meeting place for Swedish industry
Production2030 is one of the representatives in the Swedish pavilion at the Hannover Trade Fair on April 1-5, 2019. With Sweden as a partner country to the fair, Production2030’s presence is important, not least for Swedish industry. A well-established focus on digitization and Industry 4.0 makes Production2030 a natural hub for all actors within this field.
“Our aim is to promote Swedish innovation and manufacturing capabilities,” says Production2030’s Program Director Cecilia Warrol. “One way of doing this is by presenting result from our industry driven projects and the latest achievements within digitalization and new technology such as 5G.”
Prime Minister Stefan Löfven and German Chancellor Angela Merkel will also be present, as well as Minister for Enterprise Ibrahim Baylan. The Minister of Enterprise participates at the seminar “How will connectivity change the industry”, where also Cecilia Warrol is one of the speakers under the heading “Robots, co-bots, 5G and how Production2030 works to enhance competitive and sustainable industry in Sweden.” The seminar will be arranged on Tuesday 2 April between 12:15 and 13:00, Hall 27, Stand H 30.
Germany is Sweden’s most important trading partner and also a perfect springboard towards a global market. In addition, 30 percent of the visitors at Hannover Trade Fair come from Asia and Japan, emerging market that are highly relevant to Swedish industrial companies.
“The Hannover Trade Fair offers an entrance to Sweden’s largest market outside the country’s borders,” concludes Cecilia Warrol. “It is a unique opportunity to establish new contacts regardless of whether you belong to the research and innovation sector or the Swedish export industry and we are in place as a support.”
