Karla Carballo Valderrábano, Digital Deployment Champion, Manufacturing Development, SKF has studied the module Management of Manufacturing Digitalization. These are her thoughts on the module.

I studied the Management of Manufacturing Digitalization module. I appreciated the combination of webinars, videos, and reading materials, including academic research, which enriched my learning experience. The opportunity to exchange experiences and ideas with peers from other companies, as well as with the instructors, offered a wide range of perspectives on the topic.

I have already applied my new knowledge in my daily work. The best example would be the integration of the business model into our Digitalization Roadmap creation process. We aim for all SKF factories to develop a robust and aligned digital strategy that is customer-focused, operationally and financially efficient, innovative and risk-aware.

I highly recommend this module to anyone involved in digital transformation initiatives and to anyone with an interest in the field.

I have also participated in the Global Production and Digital Supply Chains module and I am registered for the upcoming Business Models for Circularity with Digitalization session this year. I look forward to continue expanding my skills through this initiative.
