Testbeds

An industrial testbed provides an opportunity to try out a new technology, material or process. Testbeds are specialised and controlled environments where experiments can be repeated and the risks of a new technology reduced, before using it in the actual production process or product. Testbeds should be open environments, where businesses and researchers can work together and uncover new opportunities.

In 2017, Produktion2030 opened up 12 national testbeds across Sweden. Our vision is that the national testbeds will create a forum in which industry, universities and research institutes will pool their resources. We hope that the testbeds will provide a place to perform tests that would be impossible in the parties’ own environments. The testbeds have specified their specialist areas. You are welcome to contact them about closer collaboration.

Testbäddar

I en industriell Testbädd har man möjlighet att pröva en ny teknik, ett nytt material eller en process. Testbäddar skall vara specialiserade och kontrollerade miljöer där man kan upprepa experiment och minska riskerna med ny teknik innan man använder den i sin produktion eller produkt. Testbäddar bör vara öppna miljöer där företag och forskare kan samarbeta och hitta nya möjligheter.
