To realise the vision, we need to transform new know-how from research and development into commercial innovations. We also need to increase and reinforce collaborations between different industries and sectors. Produktion2030 aims to be a meeting place and a platform for stakeholders in the field of production.
Produktion2030 is a strategic innovation programme supported by Vinnova, the Swedish Energy Agency and Formas. Its goal is to ensure that Sweden remains a competitive manufacturing nation. We will achieve this by translating industry challenges into relevant and innovative solutions; by building up and strengthening networks and collaborations, both within Sweden and internationally; and by bringing together ideas, players and funding opportunities in order to create valuable solutions for the manufacturing industry of the future.

Sweden has more global manufacturing companies per capita than any other country in the world.
The manufacturing industry is a pillar of the Swedish economy and a foundation for our employment. Many Swedish companies were quick to exploit the potential of digitalisation. So far, we have maintained our competitiveness in an increasingly tough global market. Now we need to gather our various resources in the production field in order to take the industry forward in Sweden. We do this to ensure future welfare and jobs, but also to make sure that Sweden is well placed internationally as a manufacturing nation for advanced products and services.
Today, more than 250 companies, research actors and organizations are participating, all of which are behind the common vision.
